IFC Query Studio Privacy Policy

IFC Query Studio is designed as a local IFC model interrogation tool. Your selected model files are processed on your device.
Data Collection
IFC Query Studio does not collect personal data from users.
The app does not require an account, login, subscription account or user profile.
IFC Files and Model Data
IFC files are selected by the user through the system file picker. The app reads the selected file locally to create a deterministic query index.
Imported model data, query results, saved queries and exports remain on the device unless you choose to share, export, copy or move them using system sharing features.
Network and Cloud Services
IFC Query Studio does not upload IFC models to a developer server.
The app does not use external cloud processing, external AI APIs or third-party analytics services for its core IFC parsing and querying features.
AI and Automated Analysis
IFC Query Studio’s query results are generated by the deterministic IFC parser and query engine. Results are not invented or generated from a cloud AI service.
If optional on-device Apple intelligence features are available in a future or supported build, they will be availability-gated and used only to help explain or draft queries. The deterministic IFC query engine remains the authority for model results.
Saved Queries and Recent Files
The app may store saved query definitions, recent file references, import metadata and export preferences locally on your device to improve the user experience.
You can remove app data by deleting the app from your device. Files exported by you remain wherever you saved or shared them.
Third-Party Components
The app may use local open-source components for file handling, such as ZIP archive extraction. These components are used locally within the app and do not transmit your model data.
